A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Davis Allan graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Genetics and Evolution and receiced his medical degree from the University of Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City, and completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General and Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr Allan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease and a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr Allan has been in practice since 1985 and joined Summit Medical Group, IMA in 1996.

Dr. Lorino was born in West Berlin, Germany, but grew up in Cleveland, Tenn. He graduated from East Tennessee State University, where he played division I tennis, and the East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Dr. Lorino is Board Certified in internal medicine and joined Internal Medicine Associates in 1998. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Tennessee Medical Association. He enjoys playing golf, hiking, reading and traveling with his wife and two sons to junior tennis tournaments. He serves as the volunteer physician for the U.S. Tennis Association's Knoxville Challenger Pro Tennis Tournament.

Dr. Brandon was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, Memphis. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Dr. Brandon is Board Certified in internal medicine. She joined Internal Medicine Associates in 2003. She enjoys cooking and traveling.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Memphis. Dr Leahy completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Leahy is a Master of the American College of Physicians and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He has been in practice since 1978 and is a founding member of Internal Medicine Associates and Summit Medical Group.

A native of Arizona, Dr. Durbin graduated from Norhern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Microbiology. He received his medical degree from the University of Arizona. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Virginia. Dr. Durbin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Durbin has been in Internal Medicine practice since 1994. He joined Intternal Medicine Associates in 1994 and is a founding member of Summit Medical Group.

A native of Texas, Dr Gibbs received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, and her medical degree from Loiusiana State University School of Medicine. Dr Gibbs completed her internship and residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr Gibbs also completed a fellowship training program in Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr Gibbs is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and joined Summit Medical Group, IMA in August 2006.

Dr. Taylor was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee, and she grew up in Southgate, Mich., and Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Taylor graduated from Tennessee Technological University and the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, Memphis. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Dr. Taylor is Board Certified in internal medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Taylor is also a member of the American Medical Association. She has practiced medicine since 1991, and is a founding member of Summit Medical Group. Dr. Taylor enjoys gardening, reading and photography.

A native of Iowa, Dr. Ochoa graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed his internship at The Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, N.Y., and his residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Ochoa is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and he joined Internal Medicine Associates in 2002.

Dr. Brakebill was born in Loudon, Tenn., and he graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, Memphis. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Memorial Research Hospital. Dr. Brakebill is Board Certified in internal medicine, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is also a Certified Physician Executive with the American College of Physicians, a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, the Knoxville Academy of Medicine and the American Medical Association. His is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Phi Beta Kappa. He joined Internal Medicine Associates in 1987 and was a founding member of Summit Medical Group in 1995.

Somerset, Kentucky is the birthplace of Dr. James Griffin, II. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Griffin completed his intership and residency at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Dr. Griffin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and joined Summit Medical Group in 2000 as a Hospitalist. He then joined Internal Medicine Associates October, 2006.

A Knoxville native, Dr. Vannoy graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville. Dr. Vannoy is Board Certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is also Board certified in hospice and palliative care. He is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Vannoy has practiced medicine since 1991 and was a founding member of Summit Medical Group in 1995. He lives in Farragut with his wife and three children. He enjoys University of Tennessee sports.

After growing up in East Texas, Dr. Gerald L. Mancebo graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree from Texas Tech University. He completed his internship and residency at Methodist Hospital of Dallas. Dr. Mancebo is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and is Borad Certified in Internal Medicine. He has been in practice since 1982 and joined Internal Medicine Associates in 1984 and is a founding member of Summit Medical Group.

Dr. Alley is a native of Knoxville, Tenn., who graduated from the University of Tennessee and East Tennessee State University's James H. Quillen College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Georgia Baptist Hospital. Dr. Alley is Board Certified in internal medicine and has been practicing since 1989. He joined Internal Medicine Associates in 1995. Dr. Alley is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Tennessee Medical Association. He lives in Knoxville with his wife Elizabeth and two children. He enjoys biking, fishing, scuba and travel.
