I was lucky to have found Dr. Amshel. I was referred to another surgeon in the area (who has a horrible bedside manner) by my family doctor. This other surgeon put me through hell. He completely screwed up my bottom and was miserable. This other surgeon just gave up on me after I had followed up for several visits complaining that something "just wasn't right" after my operation. A friend of the family recommended Dr. Amshel and she was right. Dr. Amshel saw me right away, examined me, told me everything that happened with me and what the treatment plan would consist of AND HE WAS RIGHT! He didn't beat around the bush by telling me "everything is going to be fine," but everything eventually did turn out just fine. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Amshel and his staff and would recommend him to my family and friends and told my family doctor that he should have done the same!
