About
A Real Texas Dance Hall Live Country Dance Music on Saturday nights Couples, Singles, families and large parties all welcome
The Western Kountry Klub was originally a skating rink, built in the late 50's early 60's. In 1972, Wanda Hendrick bought the building and converted it into a dance hall. It was the biggest night spot in the area at the time and today is the oldest known Honky-Tonk in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area that doesn't serve alcohol. The Western Kountry Klub was also a film location for the George Strait movie "Pure Country".
