The IFP owner is listed as an Investment Adviser on brokercheck dot finra dot org and completed the Series 65 - Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination in 2012. The firm is listed as an Insurance Agency by Virginia State Corporation Commission. We chose instead a Certified Financial Planner because - those three letters show that someone is qualified in financial and investment planning, and that they provide an honest fiduciary benefit to their clients. - Search Investopedia for Why Your Financial Advisor Should Be A CFP. Our decision to refuse IFP services was validated by the owner's email in which he wrote - It's funny how 'Christians' will actually waste more of my time and want us to work for free but the pagans that don't know God are more respectful of my advice and time. Christians want to squeeze everything out of us. The pagans are more willing to pay instead of being Penny wise and Pound foolish. -
