We want to warn anyone who might be considering using NE Renovations for any project of any size. You are placing yourself at risk of losing your money & not getting any work done! After one basement plumbing job & one subsequent emergency (leak) call to repair request, Richard’s modus operandi is very clear. In 2011 NE Renovations removed & replaced our basement copper water lines. After a contract was signed & a deposit was paid, the plumber that Richard brought in completed the job in approx. 2 days. The job was well done. Richard gains your confidence & then actively solicits submission of superlative reviews on Angie’s List which we did post. Then in early 2012 we called Richard to begin work on bathroom upgrades which we previously discussed with Richard & received no response from him. We recently had an plumbing emergency. Given that Richard had assured us in the past that he would be there for us in an emergency, we called & explained our plumbing situation. He called back the next day & said that he could be at our home in 30 minutes. When he did arrive, he reviewed the problem & told us it would be about $300. to buy the part for the repair. He also asked that we pay him the money now so that he could get the part for us that day & do the job the next day. We thought the request for payment just to buy the part strange but we assumed it would be okay just as our initial project went. Needless to say, after approximately 3 weeks the job is still not
