Recreational and small commercial fisheries catch bycatch and protected species interaction voluntary logging program in Hawaii

We are an independent program designed to represent fishermen and the catch and bycatch of recreational and small commercial fisheries throughout the state of Hawaii. We gather the information from fishermen by use of catch logs, phone calls, and web forums. We then analyze the data and compare it to state and federal statistics. All the information provided is voluntary and all identities of all the participating fishermen remains anonymous due to the sensitivity of the information gathered.
