Bill Couch, owner of Strictly Stone is a complete scam artist that you should avoid at all costs!
I am an award winning home builder in Birmingham Michigan and decided to hire him to do the interior and exterior stone work on the log home my wife and are building in Grayling Michigan for our family. He started out pleasant by quoting and showing up to start the work early October 2021. I visited the site and could see that he knew what he was doing. This job site is 3 hours away so I have to rely on trade's honesty and character when they report progress to me.
In mid October Bill said he was done and was going to be down state. He begged to come by my office to pick up a check which I agreed to because I had no reason to think he was lying. He had stayed in contact with me up until then, so I figured if there were any issues he would stand behind his warranty. BIG MISTAKE! When I arrived at the site a week later, the job was not even close to being completed. Since then it has been line after line of BS shoveled my way promising to finish my job, all while my home sits exposed to the elements.
He can deal with my attorney now since I have had to move on. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. Trust me on this!
