Signal Essence provides software-based speech processing solutions for your product. By combining the inputs of multiple microphones with our signal processing algorithms, the Signal Essence software eliminates noise and reverberation while enhancing speech for both human listeners and speech recognition systems. The Signal Essence software implements a full audio processing engine: direction finding, multi-microphone beamforming, noise reduction and acoustic echo cancellation. The software scales with the number of available microphones, and will use however many microphones your platform’s CPU can supprt. On a small, hand-held unit, 4 microphones provide unparalleled speech intelligibility in noisy environments. A system with additional microphones can reach into a room to pick up quiet and distant talkers. Our system can also integrate with video camera processing to locate the nearest talker.
