Aside from creating decadent confections for all occasions, Silvana takes pride in running an environmentally friendly business, and only uses fresh, local and organic ingredients, including eggs from her own free-range, organically fed chickens. Silvana's Dessert Academy, is designed to teach kids how to bake using fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients found in Silvana's own backyard. Under Silvana's supervision and instruction, students create scrumptious desserts, including truffles, cakes, cookies, tortes, tarts, and pies, among other specialty dessert confections.
