Chambers and Associates, Inc. began in 1981, and has a strong history of expertise with General Commercial Construction. C&A is a preferred Contractor with multiple government enities and school districts, and is currently the only contractor certified in South Carolina to install earthquake resistant (seismic) sound walls.
Previous customers refer C&A for Custom Home Building and especially remodeling. Most recently, C&A completed work in 2009 - 2013 consisting of projects which included the construction and installation of 26 CARTA Bus Shelters for the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority; a Charleston County Project titled "Wingo Way" in Mount Pleasant, S.C. involving the construction of sidewalks, curb and guttering (all work was performed according to SCDOT requirements and in SCDOT right-a-way). Additionally, C&A completed an 8,000 s.f. metal building addition and all interior upfit for the Town of Summerville maintenance division.
A very special project for the City of Charleston Parks and Recreation, Governors Park on Daniel Island, involved Chambers and Associates, Inc. with various aspects of Vertical Construction. Governors Park contains an unusually constructed two-story building containing media room, kitchen, concession, bathrooms and storage.
C&A handled a special building of 8,500 s.f. Renovation for the eGroup, a locally owned and operated computer technology "cloud" facility, involving all aspects of architectural divisions. Most recently completed have been two (2) projects for the Charleston County School District of which both project were to be completed on a "short term" schedule requiring high quality results and in budget.
