"A CEMETERY FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE JEWISH FAITH"

OUR HISTORY . MOUND ZION CEMETERY was established in 1878 and cared for by Congregation Anshe Sfard until 1924. At that time the Cemetery was transferred to the newly formed independent Mound Zion Cemetery Association. Then, and in each generation after, a small group of dedicated individuals has emerged to oversee the care of the grounds, manage the Association's resources and ensure the continuance of Perpetual Care.
