Our school was founded by an AMS certified primary teacher and is guided by the approach originally developed by Maria Montessori over 100 years ago. The name Della Terra roughly translates to "From the Earth" in Maria Montessori's native language of Italian. The name serves as a constant reminder of our dedication and love of nature and the world around us.
