The company evolved from Hearing Services formerly of Arapahoe Road in West Hartford center from 1971 until 1984 and later of New Britain Avenue and South Street in the Elmwood section of West Hartford. Upon dropping his affiliation with a single manufacturer, company president Jack Felix formed Hearing Care Centers, an independent, multi-product line hearing aid dispensership specializing in advanced digital technologies. Offices are located in West Hartford, Bristol and Torrington, CT.
