Original Fine Art featuring some of the most beautiful Oil Paintings in the Portland / Vancouver markets. James E. Dunbar, Sr. is the resident artist of the business he and his wife Robyn own together, which is Portland Art Creations & Design LLC.
As a Northwest native James is currently best known for his cityscapes featuring many of the bridges and local landmarks in Portland, Oregon.
While not limiting his subject matter to cityscapes alone, he is passionate in painting many different subjects, including vineyards, jazz & blues artists, coastal sunsets, and a series of wildflowers.
His work has been featured in several local galleries including The Aurora Gallery, Schaffer's Fine Art Gallery, Forever Art, and the Lawrence Gallery in Sheridan Oregon's wine country.
His heavily sculptured oils and bold use of color compostion have earned him the reputation of a highly sought after commissioned artist.
He and his wife often collaborate together, along with numerous clients from West coast cities to the East coast, capturing and creating a memory on canvas.
Their business carries many different product lines, including KnottyGirl Style which is Robyn's creation and design of trendy, stylish slouchy hats, boot cuffs, gloves, etc. You can see their work in person most weekends from March through December at the Portland Saturday Market.
