I was urged to try the feed from Empire at the request of a friend. I recently told Don the owner, just how happy I was with the results of this feed. Not only does it take less layer for my hens, but they lay even better on this stuff! I've never seen pelleted chicken feed of this calibur...very little dust. The scratch is just as nice and chickens just love it all! I recommend this feed to anyone who thinks that buying from Walmart or Big R is a savings. Not only is the feed better, the value is better in the long run as well since the animals are more satisfied on less.

We've had nothing but good results using the feeds from Don Strong at Empire Feeds for our boxers and chickens. We agree with the other poster that the hens are doing much better on this feed and laying better than before. Our boxers have beautiful shiney coats since being on the Black Gold dog food and we will continue to buy from Don Strong. S. & J. Lamb
