Knife and Collectible Retail Store As along time knife aficionado, Marshall Thompson began collecting knives at age 7. The first knife he received was an original Barlow from his father on a family vacation to the mountains of North Carolina. From there, the journey began. After many years of collecting and using various types of knives for hunting, fishing, work, or just sitting around and whittling, Marshall began his career in the knife industry. He started as a customer service representative with a local knife distributor in the retail showroom. This life and career experience further drove the desire to gain as much knowledge he could about knives; and, to one day establish his own retail knife and cutlery store.
