I signed a $1200 roof repair contract with Daniel Southcott on May 10, 2018. it is now September, 2018 and he has not performed the agreed to work. I have a series of his texts listing all kinds of reasons (rain, big jobs, some one rented a hoist out from under him, "I didn't write in a completion date" (promised me verbally he would start and finish one week after signing the contract) The excuses go on an on. He has not provided me with his legal address to serve him papers, although I have repeatedly asked for his address. Based on my experience, this guy must be in way over his head and he is certainly not a man of his word. In my 45 years of business, I have not encountered any one like him, it was always someone else who ran into these types of contractors, up until now.
