Experience is from boarding there for three years.In the feed store, people may be helpful. The barn is atrocious. The fields have no grass in them and the arena is a dust pit if you so much as walk a horse across. There are no trees in the field for shade. The horses are NOT kept up to date on deworming - a list goes up for people to cross their names off but nothing is done to the boarders who just don't follow it. There have been horses who come in who aren't UTD on coggins/vaccines. Since spring 2011 there have been FOUR horses test positive for EPM due to opossums living in the hay area next to the indoor arena. If you talk to Marcia though, they're all false positives and nothing is wrong. The fields are never treated. She keeps a miniature horse in a dog kennel that was supposed to go to her grandkids. She's constantly drinking and throws fits at people. She hides beer in soda cans during the day. She yells at you in front of customers and other boarders. If a horse is sick she tries to doctor them herself, even if it is best the horse see a vet (uses mineral oil via syringe to treat choke and colic), then either comes out the hero for saving the horse without vet costs or blames the vets for not making it out in time to help the horse. She likes to bring in people who know nothing about horses and sell them unsuitable horses and look like she's all-knowing. Real horse people will see the truth.
