Our 4 yo daughterstopped speaking when she entered daycare, just at home however. We were recommended Dr Lalinec from friends who had had help from her in the past. Her evaluation pointed to the birth of our second daughter as a trigger. Our toddler was seen in individual play therapy sessions for a couple of months while we were seen in behavioral parenal counselling every 2 weeks. The lightening of tension in our home was tangible rather quickly and within 6-8 weeks, the selective mutism had disappeared. Thank you!
