My wife and I own a home at Artesian Lakes Community Association in Romayor, Texas. Adequate internet accessibility and performance were historically significant challenges for our community in this remote area in East Texas. The top available internet speed was around 6 Mbps, so the community decided to invest in a fiber optics solution. We engaged and worked with the Auravox team on this challenging project. Considering limitations and difficulties with trenching for fiber optics installation in our community, Auravox developed a brilliant alternative solution...run the fiber optics through the water. This solution reduced the overall cost of the project and significantly decreased trenching requirements, thus practically eliminating the risk of cutting electrical, water and waste water lines throughout the community. The end result was a fiber optics network with connections to approximately 40 homes and connection access in the future to approximately 60 undeveloped lots. My wife and I are huge college football fans, and we frequently stream 5 football games at the same time...with zero buffering. The fiber optics solution and working with the Auravox team have been a huge benefit and success for our community...incredible internet speed at a reasonable monthly cost.
