This is the worst experience I EVER had working with a "professional company". Hawk tile was hired by Stanley Steamer to repair the grout that was destroyed through an improper cleaning process. It was a job they estimated that would take 4 days. There were many failures from this company. 1. Every day they should up a minimum of 2 hours late.(The first day they were 5 hours late) 2. They failed to execute the terms of the contract / estimate an attempted to collect additional money from me in the middle of the job. They strong armed Stanley Steamer to come up with the difference when i declined. 3. They failed to meet the terms of the agreement by containing the dust within their work areas. They did not cover any of my furniture or attempt to secure the work area which spread dust throughout all 3 floors. 4. They did not hire sufficient staff to do the job. The owner left two unskilled workers (1 developmentally delayed that had never performed this type of work before) and a second who was her son's girlfriend who was also not skilled and then hired by daughter to pick up the slack. (19 years old - unskilled in tile/grout.) alone in my house working unsupervised. 5. The BIGGEST and most CRITICAL point of this review is they left my floors dusty and dirty with my entire house smelling like rotten eggs because they failed to proper clean the grout dust and chemicals from the floor. For the entire week that this company worked in my house I asked them for a copy of the contract I signed with them which was to be delivered to me the evening i signed it. After many promises to send it she decided not to after I voiced my grievances. I will be settling this matter in court.
