Darrell “Red” DeVault bought the business in 1961 and it has remained in the DeVault family ever since. Charles DeVault, Darrell’s son, and Mike DeVault took over in 1984. In 2000, Mike and Charles started American Fence. They share ownership of both American Fence and Gwynn Tire Service Inc. In 2007, Tyler DeVault, Charles’ son, assumed management of Gwynn Tire Service Inc.
