AbleLight is a non-profit organization serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the U.S. Founded in 1904 as a Christian Mission, AbleLight offers a variety of comprehensive and individualized housing services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the state of Kansas, including: congregate living (group homes), shared living arrangements (Host Homes), and supported living services. In addition, our day programs serve as bridge to the community while providing customized service plans and a personalized calendar of activities to meet the needs of each person, teaching them valuable skills such as daily living and vocational skills, volunteering, self-advocacy, exercise and recreation.
