If you wish to be treated by a massage therapist in the most callous, uncaring and unprofessional manner, Anna's Spa in Quincy MA is the place for you! I went in there as a first-time customer after the proprietor turned away another customer, who was in front of me. I asked the proprietor why she did that and she pretty much shrugged her shoulders and invited me in. I explained that I had a long standing injury to my leg and that's why I came here, having a recommendation to go there from a friend. I paid her the fee for a half-hour massage and lay on the table waiting for relief from the lingering leg injury when she lady came in and basically kicked me out! She apologized profusely, explaining (get this) that 'her boss came in and had to treat him first'. I was incredulous. I asked her 'why didn't you tell me this before the session started?' Again came the (by now insincere) apologies as she handed me the fee back. I told her this was incredibly rude and unprofessional behaviour. She then had the nerve to ask if I was coming back. I told her 'not bloody likely' and hobbled away on my untreated, still injured leg. In conclusion - I recommend this massage therapist if you don't mind being on the bottom of the totem pole and getting kicked out at the absolute last minute because her boss takes priority over you, the paying customer.
