After owner Adam Swedberg worked 3 years for the forest service and one and a half years logging he saw the opportunity to start doing fuels reduction work in the Havillah area, bought a 1960's era chipper and went to work. Forestry work includes climbing, chipping, snag creation, fuels reduction, pruning, lop and scatter, excavator piling brush, hand piling, "wildlife" piles, burning slash (when conditions permit).
