Clothing boutique in Old Town Newhall. WELCOME TO SALT AND FRECKLES! The previous home of Faking It Flawless, The Boutique. Eight years ago, we created a business plan and quit our day jobs. That’s when Faking It Flawless, a simple dream surmised in a small apartment in Santa Monica, was born. Spray tanning was our mission and nothing could stop us. We schlepped our bronzing equipment all over Southern California, into salons, shops and garages and loved every second. Then, we decided to open our own space with a few racks of clothes for fun. Those few racks became a few more, and before we knew it, our passions shifted and another business was born. Being the nostalgic, hold onto our roots, kinda gals that we are, it never seemed right to change our name. It was where we came from and a fun ode to all those that followed us from our bikini clad days. Now, it just doesn’t fit anymore. We outgrew those bikinis, babes, and so for a few months, we tried every name under the sun. Well, we found it, and Salt and Freckles was born! For our love of the beach and its salty goodness, and for a tip of the ole hat to who and what we have always been- Freckle faced-And proud of it! We’re so excited to have you babes continue to join us on this journey that is familiar yet new. Cheers to many more years and many more sun spent freckles!
