ADL's, (Activities of Daily Living): Bathing, dressing, transferring, using the toilet, eating and walking. IADL's, (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living): Light housekeeping, prepare meals, remind to take medications, shopping, groceries, errands, using the telephone - making appointments, and assist with paying bills and keeping papers organized.
