Our laboratory was established in 1983 as a regional reference lab designed to provide a full range of testing services to hospitals, long term care facilities and physicians' offices in the Bangor, Maine area. Our laboratory was established in 1983 as a regional reference lab designed to provide a full range of testing services to hospitals, long term care facilities and physicians' offices in the Bangor, Maine area. Today these same services extend to healthcare providers throughout Northern New England. To better serve our clients ALI/Portland was formed in 1988. In 1997 the Vermont Physician's Lab was created in Rutland, Vt. and in 1998 ALI assumed total operations and management responsibility for lab services on the Eastern Maine Medical Center campus. In 2009 ALI Brewer lab opened to service the new Cancer Care of Maine LaFayette Center. ALI technologists use advanced instrumentation and methodologies to perform assays with accuracy, precision and efficiency.
