Beware, do NOT use this company. My home warranty company dispatched AH for repairs to my microwave. The microwave is part of my oven and is built into the wall. When the door was open the tray inside would spin but other than that the microwave functioned fine. After an initial visit to assess the problem AH sent a technician out to make the repair. While the technician was in my home I engaged him in polite conversation, he took this as an invitation to tell me his life story and how, as a virgin, he was taken advantage of and is now was on the hook for child support. This was a fun conversation in front of my small children.
After making the repair the technician asked me to turn the breaker back on, once I did this he turned the microwave on and it promptly lost power. Now this is not due to the breaker because the oven, which is part of the same unit, still has power. The technician told me that the tech that came out to assess the microwave initially didn't order all the parts they needed and he would get them ordered and they would come back out to finish the job.
After not hearing form AH for 2 weeks I called them to ask when I could expect them. The office manager checked and they had not only not ordered the parts they also had no idea that their tech didn't finish the job or that he made it worse. After another couple weeks they sent a tech out to "look" at my microwave, he was in and out in under 5 minutes and didn't look inside to see what the previous tech did to make the microwave worse.
Several weeks after this visit I was notified by AH that they could not get the parts needed due to them not being in production any longer and they put my unit in for replacement with my warranty company. AH is trying to pass the buck, the problem is there are no units available and the cash pay out is less than half the cost retail. If the parts are not available or made any longer what did they put in my microwave!?! Anyone with an ounce of logic can put the pieces together, AH is responsible for this fiasco. I could have at least lived with the tray turning until I had the money to cover the difference for the cash payout but AH utterly destroyed my microwave and now I have to replace it with over 1k out of pocket if I don't want a useless hole in my wall.
During this entire time I have only been in contact with the office manager. I had to explain everything to her every time as she forgot me and my situation. I have asked to speak to the owner several times and he refuses to return my calls. It doesn't take a Genius to see that this company is a scam, they get dispatched by home warranty companies, put in for replacement and collect a check. Frank, the owner is a coward, refusing to return calls from customers as I'm sure he knows what he and his company are doing is disgraceful.
