Located in Monterey, California we specializing in vintage inspired clothing, shoes & accessories. Indie, Retro and Rockabilly Clothing from Independe The Cat's Meow signature design was created and founded in 1998 and was once in a hole-in-the-wall basement location with just a few shelves in a closet. But demand increased for the sassiness and unique touch found within each design that it became necessary to take the next step. Melinda Collis, designer of Cat's Meow clothing line opened a boutique in 2008, in Sand City's very own artist community. Since then, Cat's Meow has expendently grown, and now can be found in the business lighthouse distict. Cat's Meow now offers compelete personal image consultanting, by your's truly Melinda Collis Stylist, Designer, and Owner. In addition, Cat's Meow comes complete with a seamtress, mural and body artist, Gabe Perazals and the largest selection of vintage clothing in the Monterey Bay.
