H. Gibner Lehmann is a patent law practice founded by Herbert Gibner Lehmann in 1955, and which was joined in 1971 by son K. Gibner Lehmann, the latter now operating as a sole practitioner under the name H. Gibner Lehmann. The firm specializes in patent preparation and prosecution, from inception of an invention through the patent process and to issued patents. The firm specializes in both mechanical and electronic inventions. K. Gibner Lehmann graduated in 1967 from Rutgers University in New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Immediately after graduation, Mr. Lehmann joined the Electronic Instrumentation Division of The Singer Company, as an Electornic Design Engineer. Five years later, in 1971, he became registered to practice as a member of the Patent Bar at the United States Patent Office in Washington, D.C. Mr. Lehmann has a total of 40 years experience in patent preparation and prosecution, currently having processed in excess of 350 United States and foreign patents for a moderately-sized clientele, which includes individuals and small corporations in Fairfield County and beyond.
