Tribal Government

The Mackinac Band of Chippewa & Ottawa Indians is a Historical Michigan Native American Indian Tribe organized and Governed by a duly elected board of directors, to conduct the business of Tribal Government to authorize expenditures and revenues for key components. The Tribal organization of the Mackinac Bands is essential for the continuing operation and survival of the people of the Mackinac Band of Chippewa and Ottawa Indians.
