Please do not board your horses here. Not only did I have to have Willow Creek out to the property multiple times due to horses beating up my horse (and no one telling me about it until I saw it myself), but the last incident caused my horse her life. After being asked to not have my horse out with the others multiple times, they continued to not listen until a fight turned so bad that my horse got knocked down 6 feet of rock into a creek. A creek that they continue continuously have asked for donations to get covered up because they know it’s dangerous. The pictures posted are of the day when my horse died on the property, and the wounds are from October’s visit after a horse who had attacked her before, bit her so badly it abscessed. My saddles were always being used without my consent and after my horse died today, Julia the owner, blocked me on Facebook without so much as an apology. I only boarded here because I was within walking distance of the property and could see my horse everyday. They clean the stalls maybe twice a week, and I had to bring in my own shavings because I cleaned my horses stall myself daily, as they should be kept. Instead, she refunded me this months board minus the last 7 days, including that day, and went on her way. I also have pictures how they treated the aggressive horse as if his behavior was funny, calling him the “toxic boyfriend,” meaning they acknowledged that he was aggressive toward my horse and didn’t care. An ex farm hand also wrote me a letter to inform me about what was happening behind my back, how bad it was and how the owner, Julia, told her not to tell me. Do yourself a favor, save your horses life and board somewhere else.
