We used Konde Electric to install a doorbell in our home that was built in 1903. We understood that it would be a tough job given that the home is old but we recently did a full house renovation. Konde "texted" us a $2K estimate for the doorbell installation. We were supplying a Nest doorbell and just needed an electrical supply for it. He did not tell us that we would need an extremely expensive drywall fix given the "multiple" huge holes that he left in our walls. Ok; we figured that is the price of doing business. Then, he crosses wires and installs a doorbell linked to our front doorway light so whenever the light switch is turned off, the doorbell isn't charging. This makes the doorbell charging useless to us. We've now paid, promptly $2K for the doorbell. We ask him to come back and it takes weeks; literally weeks to get him to respond to texts. He does come back to fix it and we've moved on. I don't write a negative review for a doorbell installation that has now cost me approx $3K to install (we were ripped off to begin with by this guy). Fast forward 7 months. Konde installed a doorbell box to ensure that the doorbell rings in the house and not just our homes when the bell is engaged. It begins humming and today begins ringing every 5 seconds. When it is simply humming, 2 days ago, I ask Konde to come back to take a look at the work. He texts me "Lol. It worked for 7 months and now you assume I am the problem. Lose my number". I have a reputable electrician coming to take a look at it tomorrow and apologizing that this is happening because this is obviously the work of someone who doesn't know electricity. This company will not stand behind their work for 1 year. I have worked with contractors since and I have never been asked to lose someone's number (it is literally a worst nightmare). If you want that in your life, hire this company. I am thinking of small claims court....
