Tim Penman charges $55.00 per hour. That is quite a bit above the average carpenter wage of $35.00-45.00 in the Hudson-River Falls area. He does nice work but does it quite slowly. We also felt that he did not keep accurate hours and firmly disagreed with his reported hours. He did not provide this information upfront even though we asked him for this information regarding hours. Ultimately, we terminated his employment AND paid him the full amount he said we owed him. Beware of doing carpentry work without a clear, written contract.
