Bad experience. I hired Appalachian Glass in Feb 2016 to fix leak around rear window of my 1965 Mustang. Steve came to my warehouse where my car was, discussed the repair and he agreed to take the job He came in March, took out the glass and removed most of the old weather stripping. . I was to order some new weather stripping and trim clips and wanted to clean the channel around the window and paint to prevent future rust. I did that, got the parts, called Steve back. He came back, replaced the weather stripping and clips but broke the glass when putting it back in. He told me he would find a glass and fix it and left. This went on for 3 weeks or so during which I called several times to get status. He kept telling me he hadn’t found a glass but was looking. He then stopped taking my calls. I called the office phone and talked to, I guess his wife Joy who is listed as the President. She informs me that they are not going to fix it. She said they were not responsible for breaking the glass. I sent them a certified letter stating that I was going to take legal action if I did not hear from them and they did not replace the glass. They did not respond. I called my insurance agency. They said they would cover the loss and go after Appalachian Glass for reimbursement. They have settled the claim with me and are in the process of taking legal action against Appalachian Glass. So, in my opinion, this is not a reputable honest business. I would not recommend doing business with them
