I am a woman who just completed the CCW course at the end of February 2012 and would recommend the concealed arry courses to any female who has a desire to protect herself from harms way. In fact me and my 24 year old daughter took the class together. I was a little hesitant in the beginning to follow through, but it was one of the best decisons I made in a long time. The classroom instructor, Sgt. Mark was engaging and kept your interest going. I had a female marine firing instructor by the name of Patty and she was truly terrific. When I fist arrived onto the firing range, I noticed this woman but I wasn't sure if she was an instructor and if she was, I was hoping I got her. Well sure enough, I got Patty and she taught me how to handle the weapon, load the magazine and shoot. I was totally at ease and I listened carefully to her instructions. Needless to say, I passed with flying colors. I am hoping to schedule more time with Patty in the future. Women can be great teachers when it comes to handling and firing a gun. I felt confident when I left the range and look forward to coming back. Patty was patient and knowledgeable and an overall carig person. Thanks everybody, especially Patty!
