Cancer Research Institute provides funding to research scientists at the predoctoral, postdoctoral, early investigator, and senior clinical investigator levels at academic institutions and health research centers throughout the world. CRI also hosts annual symposia, conference, and meetings for the tumor immunology community. Through a partnership with the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, CRI with LICR supports, coordinates, funds, and supplies academic clinical investigators testing therapeutic cancer vaccines in systematic fashion across 19 clinical trial centers on four continents in order to learn how to develop the optimal cancer vaccine. CRI also supports working groups of industry and academic stakeholders in cancer vaccine research via its Cancer Vaccine Consortium.
