Driveline Fabrications was started in 2000 as a small driveshaft repair shop in Boones Mill by Michael Jewell. It was "something on the side" to make extra money in the evenings after working a full time schedule at a machine shop. He was the only employee working in a 500sf rented building. The business grossed a little over $13,000 in its first year. Two years later he quit his job to do his own work full time and hired his first employee. In 2006 additional real estate was purchased for the future home of Driveline. In 2008 and 2009, with the goal of expanding to the sale and service of forestry equipment two more employees were hired. The success of Driveline Fabrications, Inc. comes from having a strong commitment to it's customers, employees and the community.
