I absolutely do NOT recommend Mike Capehart for roofing, gutters or anything else he is peddling. Here is some of the reasons why. To be considerate to Mike after he fell off somebody else’s roof, I waited several months to have my roof done so he could recover from his injuries and so he would have worked lined up when he was able to return to work. While it took several weeks for his team to get near completion for my project, I only saw Mike on the job site 3 times. Once when material was delivered. Once to drop off a saw and show the crew how to use it. And then to push for final payment before I could review the entire project. This is inconsistent with what he committed to prior to getting the 50% down payment. He would not even know if his crew showed up on site. He was asking me. His crew broke a window and he said he would make it right. I still have the texts of his promises that were not fulfilled. Fixing the window turned out to be about a $600-800 repair as it had to be replaced, and he never contributed any payment. He has ignored my follow-up communications, and never did complete a couple of outstanding issues with the roof. I strongly recommend choosing a more honest and reliable contractor.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND MIKE CAPEHART ROOFING FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON: Mike came to my house and provided an estimate in September 2018. He requested 1/2 be paid up front for supplies. We paid $6200 and he was suppose to start the job in October 2018. We called several times and he was going to be out the next week. Same story each time. I understand we had a lot of rain but there were days he could have worked. January 2019, no Mike. He never tried getting in touch with us until he tried to get more money. At first it was he needed $2000 more to buy material. Then it was he needed $3200 because his equipment had been stolen and he couldn't do the job. He has not gotten anymore money from us and it's now 4/2/19 and we have not heard from him. He shafted us out of $6200. He came highly recommended; however, I would not recommend him to roof a dog house. He is dishonest and unreliable. I'm sure I am not the only person that has been swindled by his deceptive practices. BE AWARE!!!!! Do not get taken as I did.

I recently had to replace my home's roof due to aging. I notified Mike Capehart, of Mike Capehart Roofing, to give me an estimate of the cost of replacing the roof. Mike came by that day, and sent us our quote soon after. I shopped around to other roofing companies and the big box stores, and Mike gave a better quote than anyone else. When the job started this past Monday morning, the crew took very good care to not damage my landscaping or my shrubbery by covering them from possible damage by material falling off roof. They worked diligently and exceeded my expectations! The crew were very professional and courteous and daily picked up any waste and trash. I will highly recommend this company to all my friends and anyone else looking to replace their roof. I'm very satisfied with the job that they did for us. Ron & Sheri Scott
