Time is also spent educating families and caregivers to facilitate carryover of therapeutic activities outside of the gym setting. Along with individual treatment sessions, Theraplay offers groups, classes, evaluations, and assessments. We service children through the New York City Board of Education (CPSE & CSE), as well as private pay clients. Evaluations incorporate standardized and non-standardized assessment tools as well as clinical observation and discussion with the parent or caregiver. The length of an evaluation will be dependent on the needs of each child.
