Lifesource Cryobank LLC is an umbilical cord blood storage facility, physician inspired company, committed to the mission of preserving for the future Lifesource Cryobank is a umbilical cord blood stem cell storage facility. Stem cells are a hot medical topic as more and more therapies are approved by the FDA for treatments for blood disorders such as Leukemia. The list for approved treatment is now up to 80 diseases for a long list of blood disorders, inherited immune system disorders, Lumphomas, cancer in the bone marrow, Anemias, Neuroblastoma and the list goes on. When someone talks about regenerative medicine, they are talking about a form of medicine that basically speeds up your own natural healing process. Stem cells are used in regenerative medicine because they are a natural source of cells from the body and when introduced to certain diseased or damaged cells they go to work by replacing or regenerating new healthy cells.
