Terrible place to work for. High employee turn over rate. And they do their employees wrong. My fiance worked there for almost 2 yrs when covid hit. During which he contracted an illness & was fired from his job for missing work due to the need to seek medical attention. For which he had his notes to validate the reasons for his absences. Because he needed & still has to have medication for this particular sickness, they terminated him & lied to DES to deny him his unemployment. Which we also later discovered is quite a common practice for this company. They would not even give their help any hazard pay or bonuses or any type of incentives of any value to remain coming to work during the pandemic to which they DID NOT adhere to ANY of the recommended CDC precautions & yet somehow or another managed to get their establishment deemed "essential" so that they, solely, could benefit from the government grant given for specific businesses to remain open. Even Dollar Tree workers got hazard pay. We are still battling for his unemployment while he suffers almost daily from an illness he had contracted during his employment there. Which we can only assume was due to the many OSHA & EPA violations they allowed to take place during his duration of employment with this company at that time.
