Dr. Sanjeev Jain is board certified in hematology and medical oncology and has a special interest in breast cancer, colon cancer and lymphomas. After he received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Dayanand Medical College in India, Dr. Jain continued to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in New Jersey for his residency in internal medicine. Dr. Jain completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NY. Dr. Jain has been treating oncology patients for over a decade on Long Island. During this time he developed his expertise in GI, lung and breast cancer as well as benign and malignant hematology. Dr. Jain also participated in clinical trial research, led multidisciplinary tumor boards and is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Hofstra Medical School.

Dr. George joined the team of premier physicians at New York Cancer Specialists in the summer of 2013. After receiving his Bachelor of Science; Life Sciences through the Accelerated BS/DO Program at New York Institute of Technology, Dr. Jerry George obtained his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine through the same institution. Upon the completion of his D.O., Dr. George completed his Categorical Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center. To conclude his post-graduate training, Dr. Jerry George completed his Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Regina Jablonski is a Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. After receiving her B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Bucknell University, Dr. Jablonski went on to get her M.D. from the UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She did her residency in Internal Medicine at the UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Her post-graduate Fellowships in Hematology-Oncology was done at Temple University Hospital and the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Clausen obtained her medical degree at Stony Brook University. She then went on to complete her Residency and Fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital and is Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology. Dr. Clausen has been practicing in Long Island’s Suffolk County for over 15 years and provides consults in Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Clausen holds a position as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook Medical Center and has affiliations with John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, St. Charles Hospital, and St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center.

Dr. William “Bill” DiScipio is a licensed NYS psychologist who adheres to the “scientist-professional” model of clinical practice. Dr. Bill received a Masters Degree in Experimental Behavioral Psychology from Queens College, City University of New York. He completed a clinical psychology internship at the the Maudsley Hospital, London England and graduated from the University of London, Institute of Psychiatry with a Ph.D. in the psychology of personality typology. His scientific achievements include over 50 professional articles, one book and a US patent for a biofeedback device for treating diurnal incontinence. He served in public service for 25 years as the Chief Psychologist at Bronx Children’s Psychiatric Hospital and Chief Psychologist and Director of the Psychology Internship at Westchester Jewish Community Services in Westchester, NY. For the past decade, Dr. Bill has been providing psychological services for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.

Dr. William Lipera has been a practicing board certified Hematologist and Oncologist for the past 22 years. Currently, he’s an attending physician at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists and Stony Brook University Hospital, John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, St. Charles Hospital and St. Catherine’s Hospital where he practices as an Assistant Clinical Professor, actively teaching medical students and residents. Receiving his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and completing his residency and fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and at Stony Brook University Hospital, Dr. LiPera’s area of interest and expertise include GI cancers, lymphomas and multiple myeloma. After receiving his B.S. in Biology from Adelphi University, Dr. Lipera went on to get his M.D. from SUNY Downstate University. He did his residency in Medicine at Long Island Jewish Hospital. His post-graduate Fellowships in Hematology-Oncology at SUNY Stony Brook Medical Center.

Dr. Edward Samuel is a Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology whose specialty is Leukemia – Lymphoma and Management of Pain. After receiving his B.A. at CUNY – Hunter College, he received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry with NYU. Dr. Samuel went on to get his M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine. He did his residency on Internal Medicine at Duke University Medical Center. His post-graduate Fellowships in Hematology-Oncology at Duke University Medical Center, Oncology with Memorial Sloan Kettering and Bone Marrow Transplantation New York Medical College, Valhalla. Dr. Samuel has a faculty appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine with NYU Medical Center. Dr. Samuel has been trained in the latest treatment of Pain Management.

Jeffrey Vacirca, MD, FACP is a board certified hematologist and oncologist at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, where he serves as CEO and managing partner. His specialties include breast cancer, prostate cancer, and complicated cancers. Currently, Dr. Vacirca is the president of the Community Oncology Alliance (COA), medical director for Amerisource Bergen specialty group, a Scientific Advisory Board Member for Caris Life Sciences, president and co-founder of National Translational Research Group, and serves as a medical board advisor for Flatiron Health, located in New York City. Additionally, he is the vice-chairmen of the board for Odonate Therapeutics, a company dedicated to the development of best-in-class therapeutics that improve and extend the lives of patients with cancer. He has been the recipient of the Theodore Roosevelt award for outstanding dedication to patient care and has been named in Newsday’s Top Doctors.

During his fellowship, he served as Assistant Team Orthopedic Surgeon for the University of Virginia and James Madison University. He also covered the UVA Club Ice Hockey team and high school football. Dr. Jarit is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the orthopedic care of athletes at all levels. He also performs general orthopedic surgical and nonsurgical fracture care. He has particular interest in the care of acute and chronic sports-related injuries, including conservative, arthroscopic, and minimally invasive surgical treatment. He has experience with the latest techniques in facilitating early return to play while maximizing the function and safety of the athlete. He recently received an additional subspecialty certification in Orthopedic sports medicine.

Dr. Frankenberger graduated magna cum laude from the New York Institute of Technology and participated in a combined program with the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in medical school she was inducted into the medical honor society and was awarded her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2002. Dr. Frankenberger completed a rotating internship at North Shore/LIJ Plainview Hospital, and then completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stony Brook University Medical Center. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management in the Department of Anesthesiology at New York’s prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center. She is an active member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Pain Society, and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has authored multiple articles in the field of interventional pain management as well and physical medicine and rehabilitation. She is fluent in Russian. Dr. Frankenberger is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the New York Institute College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Frankenberger is also board certified in Interventional Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Frankenberger believes in a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of painful conditions. Her training in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management allows her to treat pain utilizing the best techniques from both of these medical disciplines. Dr. Frankenberger’s fellowship training allows her to specifically target and deliver potent medications precisely to the locations that will have the greatest effect on easing pain. This is often done utilizing state of the art digital fluoroscopy.
