In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. GRAND OPENING IS APRIL 4th 2014 7am-2:30am! Rachel's Bar and Grill is a great place to come no matter what you're in the mood for! We were formally Mama Son's Chinese Restaurant and lounge, have done some remodeling, added another full-service lounge and will now be featuring American Food! Our goal is to do our best to cover all the bases, offer a place where families are welcome on one side, and for those who want to relax on our outdoor patio swings with a delicious cocktail can be comfortable doing that to. Our Happy Hour is 10a-7p daily . Beginning in June, Sunday's will entail outdoor grilling on the patio while local blues bands entertain us all. Full Service Menu for all kinds of appetites! No matter what day you want to come, there's something to entertain everyone 7 day's a week
