Prairie Fresh Daily's Premium Meats The Humaine Society of the US has filed complaints to federal agencies after an undercover video was made showing how this company "controls every step of thier pork processing", as they say on their website. The investigation documented breeding sows confined in tight gestation crates, barely larger than the animals’ own bodies, unable to even turn around. The investigation video also showed workers hitting animals, duct-taping their splayed legs to their bodies and jabbing their eyes.
