Emstone Music, a BMI publishing affiliate, signs songwriters of original music to publishing contracts in order to pitch their material to recording artists, music supervisors and producers, record companies and others seeking new songs. Among other works in their catalog, Emstone Music is now promoting the Air Traveler's Number One Song of 2011, "Airplane Slow Lane"--a comical look at airport security-screening procedures. The song is downloadable at online music sellers.
