Yes, he is a criminal, not a contractor. He took my money and did not do the specified work. and what he did do was done so poorly it all had to be redone. He was fired from 2 jobs in my building. I looked into suing him but he doesn't have any assets.

Absolutely NOT. Joseph Silvano and his many variations of the name Landworks Industries are nothing but thieves and charlatans. They fail to pay their employees and when they are caught they try to change the name of the business to something else. We have a $10,000 judgment against Landworks Industries from Brockton District Court for nonpayment of wages issued in May of 2014 and the MA Attorney Generals Office is watching this "businessman" for non payment of wages issues. They have never even bothered to contact the employee and at least try some type of settlement with him and he is just a poor master carpenter trying to feed his family. He was paid $300 for more than $3,000 worth of work and then Joseph Silvano did not pay the rest OR pay the judgment against him. If you have any sense you will not work for this company and you will not hire this company and any lenders out there should NOT loan him money to build his projects because we can guarantee that the workers on the project will not be paid what they are legally owed.
