The goal of the Center for Urban Parenting is to further our existing sense of community by establishing a centralized physical location for the use of its members and help the wider community by helping to build emotionally strong families through education and support, providing access to a child-focused environment for parents, children and extended blood or chosen family. The Center aids its members in facilitating a mutually cooperative exchange of care for one anothers' children. The children participating in the group are supervised and cared for solely by other parents of the group or by other Center members approved by unanimous vote.
