We provide daily developmental activities, stories, music and many other play-to-learn opportunities for the children in our care. At this time, I take advantage of "teachable moments" that we cross throughout our day and work on shapes, letters, colors, etc. through normal play and activity on an informal basis, as is recommended for preschool-age children. At this time, I take advantage of "teachable moments" that we cross throughout our day and work on shapes, letters, colors, etc. through normal play and activity on an informal basis, as is recommended for preschool-age children. Our daycare is exceptionally clean. I sanitize toys and disinfect floors each day. Each child brings his/her own blanket and pillow(case) from home and those are laundered with bleach each Friday. Another special thing about my daycare is that it is very home-like, inviting and warm. It's a colorful, cozy setting that is especially good for those who are entering daycare for the first time.
